About

“The wisest are those who admit they know nothing.”

“The learner always begins by finding fault, but the scholar sees the positive merit in everything.”
-Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel

“You can’t make a revolutionary omelet without breaking heads.”
-Norman Spinrad (Other Americas)

I am here to put down all the thoughts and ideas in my head, to keep track of them and refine them, to discover the flaws and mistakes inherent in them. Politics, privilege, sexuality, history, and anything I don’t want to share on my regular blog since it’s focus is on fandom.

Thanks for backing me up on Gayle’s blog… I literally cried for half an hour after reading that comment, I’m not cut out for internet interactions I think.

I’m so sorry it affected you so bad ): I was really shocked when I saw Silvana’s comment, and that anyone could think it an appropriate response.

I mean, i know how irritating it is when someone underestimates or dismisses someone’s pain, but I really did not see you doing it. Medications can have a lot of bad side-effects, and I certainly don’t think it makes anyone a healthnut or rude to suggest weighing the bad against the good.

Try not to let things like that bother you-sometimes people misread your intentions or are just having an off day. For the record, I try to minimize the amount of medication I use…suffering may not be noble or fun, but it’s even less fun to lose your insurance and be unable to get medication your body is now addicted or dependent on.
